Stephen Bailey: "Ich liebe den Kapitalismus"

Im November finden in den USA Kongresswahlen statt und Betsy Speicher informiert uns auf dem Forum for Ayn Rand Fans, dass unter den Kandidaten auch ein Objektivist auftaucht: Stephen Bailey. Bailey kandidiert in Colorado (2nd District) für das Repräsentantenhaus und auf einer Wahlsite zitiert er Ayn Rand ("I’m not brave enough to be a coward; I see the consequences too clearly.”) und preist den Kapitalismus: I love capitalism! Capitalism is the only economic system compatible with freedom. Capitalism allows each individual to trade his time & production for the time & production of others and to freely associate with others in commercial transactions. Capitalism allows us, as individuals, to determine what is in our best interests and to enter into mutually beneficial transactions and contracts with others.
