Geert Wilders und der Islam

Der konservative Kolumnist Charles Krauthammer hat den niederländischen Politiker Geert Wilders kritisiert: "Was er sagt, ist extrem, radikal und falsch. Im Grunde sagt er, dass der Islam das gleiche sei wie der Islamismus." Der Autor des Buches Defeating Political Islam: The New Cold War, der aus Indien stammende Moorthy S. Muthuswamy, geht den Behauptungen von Krauthammer und denen von Wilders auf den Grund, wobei er auch die Ergebnisse einer statistischen Analyse über die islamische Doktrin von Bill Warner vom Center for the Study of Political Islam anführt: I summarize his studies by noting that about sixty-one percent of the contents of the Koran are found to speak ill of unbelievers or call for their violent conquest; at best only 2.6 percent of the verses of the Koran are noted to show goodwill toward humanity. Moreover, about seventy five percent of Muhammad’s biography (Sira) consists of jihad waged on unbelievers.
